Hello: Im Edisto151
I just purchased a 2010 r151 and would like to know a couple of things.
1. Is there a way to lift the rPod to a height for my RAC4?

2. Is a microwave oven with a convection oven a good idea?
Thanks to all

Not sure what a RAC4 is but a lot of folk use the microwave/convection.  We special ordered our 177 back in January 2011 to come WITHOUT  A/C, entertainment system, microwave/convection oven.  We normally drycamp and don't miss not having the above.  If we are at a location where electricity is available, then I normally cook using charcoal or my wife will use the gas burners inside.  If you are used to using microwave and or convection oven and normally camp where there is electricity you will probably want to have that feature.

I raised 5 inches by replacing the axle with the torsion arms angled 30 deg down instead of the factory angle of 15 deg up. This also raised the axle to give IT more clearance. The new axle came complete w/ new brakes, drums and bearings . Which was bonus for me as my 2013 177 had 20k miles. Much better for rough camp sites.
Worked for me,

My wife loves baking in the convection oven. She just has to adjust the baking time downward.

Have to agree with Bugout, your Rav4 is not a good option to tow even the 151.  The 151 weighs over 1500 lbs which is the limit of your Rav4.  Do you currently have another option for a tow vehicle?
