I own a 2015 R POD 177. I had it winterized by a dealer and I de-winterized; I was able to get all systems going OK except the hot water heater. When I turn on switch for heater, the DSI light goes on. If I don't turn it off I get periodic warning beeps. I do not think it is the anode.
Sure appreciate any help since we want to take the first trip of the season soon. Thanks. George

DSI fault could indicate a failure of the burner to ignite. You do have the propane connected and turned on and the lines purged (light the stove and make sure it is burning properly), don't you? Did you also check to see if the hot water tank was full (flip the pressure relief valve and make sure water and not air is coming out)? Could there be remnants of a wasp nest in the hot water heater's tubing blocking airflow?

This is not to say that these are the problems, but things to check. If there are no problems with the above items, then it might be time to get your dealer to check it.

Thanks for the quick reply. When I first tried to get it going, I din not have the gas on. I had run water through the heater ahead of time. Later I did try to get water heater going with the gas on but I still got the DSI fault alert. I just flipped the pressure relief valve and  water,  not air, is coming out,
I will call the dealer but if you have any idea how to get the burner to ignite, please let me know. Again, I really appreciate your helpful response. George

How long did you let it try to light? Since you tried it with the gas off first, most if not all the gas remaining in the lines was lost. It may take a while for enough gas to build up for ignition.

BINGO I called the dealer from whom I purchased it (Kerola) and she said to find a toggle switch on the outside panel. I looked and found a push button reset and voila, the spark hit and the gas was ignited. Heat is working on the water now. She said you can't have it on with both electricity and gas at the same time.
Hope this can help someone else. Again thanks. George

Not true. You can run gas and electric simultaneously.

I thought so. Thanks for confirmation. I just came back inside and the water is hot with gas on! George
