I have had my RP 180 for 8 weeks and have had multiple water leaks. Does anyone know what the Manufacturer actually does vs. what the dealership prep involves?

Water leaks? Pluming or shell integrity?

All dealers should be using a predetermined prep and delivery checklist under the Pre-Delivery Inspection (DPI) program. You may have a copy in your purchase packet. If not, ask you dealer for a copy.

I have a copy of the checklist with VIN, my information and dealer info. This is my second RV (I purchased a WolfPup last Aug., but did not like it) in 8 months from the same dealer. Apparently, this form is not used as I, too expected. There has never been 1 box of either checklist, checked off. I asked about it with the previous one, but it was not addressed as that was the last packet given to me as I was out the door.
(Both were 2017 models with the RP 180 being the 2017 1/2)

again, what kind of leaks, and where?

we can't help you with dealer issues, BUT we can help you battle leaks if needed. Since the pod is surely still under warranty, have you talked with your dealer?

I have been working on the leaks. The major problem was probably from a fitting that was loose in the exterior shower. I re-leveled the unit to run to the exterior if something else would leak. On Monday the water heater wouldn't work. I did some troubleshooting and tapped on regulator, then changed out LP tanks. I believe it's the ignitor as the burner fails to light on the 3 consecutive starts.
I have an appointment at a dealership tomorrow.

One really irritating thing is the inconsiderate placing of the warning stickers. One was stuck (partially) to my door and it caused the graphic to rip. Very unappealing.Confused

The burner may take more then 3 cycles to start if the lines need to be purged..

and to be clear.. these are PLUMBING leaks, not roof, vent, etc leaks?

Plumbing tightening is an ongoing maintenance item for travel trailers. They move and shift while going down the road.

Warning stickers are a pain. I had a new garage door installed and they put warning stickers everywhere! I took them off.

There's so many on this thing that they overshadow the graphics.

Somebody once said, if we got rid of warning stickers, we would could reduce the number of stupid people. I don't know.
