Keep it closed unit it is 3/4 full. Drains much better and you will avoid collection of waste that will cause you issues in future. I will fill my tank to get to 3/4 before draining just to dilute stuff.

Hello Fellow Podders!
i have been living in my Rpod 180 for a year now, and my landlord and i are battling about whether i should be keeping my black tank valve open or shut. The guys at Camping World where i bought it told me to keep it shut except for when it's time to empty it (about once a week). My landlord insists that that is bogus "car salesmen" advice. Anybody out there have any knowledge about this? i would sure appreciate it:) Thanks |
