We just purchase our slightly used 179 from Lazydays in Tampa Florida. We live in Alabama, and happen to have been visiting family in Florida...long story short we thought we'd visit Lazydays while we were so close. We did A LOT of shopping in Alabama, but Lazydays did end up giving us the best deal. Here are the pro's and con's for
our experience:
Pro's:
-Competitive pricing
-Huge selection (limited Rpod's)
-One stop shop (financing, insurance, supply store, parts store, camping, on-site restaurants)
Con's:
-We kind of felt like cattle being herded. We didn't feel "special" like we did at smaller dealerships.
-Time consuming. Go ahead and plan on an entire day...maybe even THREE.
-High pressure sales
-The dealership is so huge, and it doesn't seem like employees work together.
--example: We asked our sales guy to move our Rpod to an area where it could be plugged in, and it took him 10 minutes to find someone and then they said they were busy, and the next guy was busy...our sales guy ended up finding a longer extension cord.
Overall, we are satisfied with our experience, and would recommend that if you are in the area to give them a try. However, we probably would not recommend traveling great distances- because at the end of the day we only saved about $500 and could have had a more "personal" experience at smaller dealership.
