Going to pickup my first rpod (180) Friday. My wife and I would like to get a bike rack for the back hitch, but the sales person didn't recommend we use the one suggested by Forrest River?

Does anyone have any recommendations / information on the best place to find one?

i use a very basic rack(2 bikes) made by allen.  i find it to be of very good quality and very reasonably priced.  you can buy on line or check wally world.  hogone

I have the 522RR model. On amazon its $89, but I know I found it cheaper at wally world. That however was several years ago. hogone

I am using the Highlander Sportwing which I am told is the same as the one sold by Forest River. It is
mounted to the receiver for the spare tire carrier and transfers to the receiver on my TV when the R-Pod is parked. I use 2 additional bungee cords secured to the corners of the R-Pod bumper to minimize movement.

I bought the Swagman XC2. I think for the money it is an excellent bike rack. It will work with a 1 1/4 inch or 2 inch receiver. I saw that it is on sale on Amazon for $113 which is a great price for this rack.

I removed my spare tire, installed it under my trailer, adapted a normal folding bike rack to the tire rack.  Two bikes weigh less then the tire dose. The rack can be removed easily and be installed on my TV for day trips.
