Hi all,
179 novice here looking for advice on which surge protectors everyone uses.
I want to purchase one before my first outing with our new Pod.

Congrats on the 179!

This is the one we use on our 178 and we really like it.

I have the "Progressive Industries EMS-PT30C Portable EMS RV Surge Protector - 30 Amp".
Highly recommend this or the hard-wired one mentioned previously or something similar.
Saved my camper just this last weekend from repeated low-voltage events during "peak" hours.
Yes, they are a little pricey, but if there's one item to splurge on, a good EMS is it.

I bought a TRC 30 amp surge protector on amazon, it test the Campground power and gives you surge protection. The dealer was trying to sell me one for almost 300 dollars it was big and bulky and at that price you better keep it in a safe. I personally think it's overkill.By the way it cost about 80 dollars.
