Hi Everybody!
Newbie here.
We pick up our new Pod180 on Friday from RVNation.
Staying in Winton Woods for shake-down camping that night.
Question for the experienced folks out there:
Would the whole experience be too overwhelming to take my GoldenNoodle?
She's really sweet and behaves ok for a 1.5 year old.
Just afraid 8hr drive each way, walk-thru, etc. may just be too much to be dragging a dog.
Opinions?

8 hours is a long time. We recently took our cat to an R-Pod rally about 2.5 hours away and he did fine with him and my wife in the back seat. He did great in the Pod once we got it set up.

How does the dog do on short car trips?

Keep him/her home, as the above poster stated, "8 hours is a long time, especially times 2.

She did ok on a 100 mile trip each way to Birmingham.
Guess I'm more worried about me getting too stressed - new Pod and everything.

Do you keep your cat in a carrier box/cage when travel? Do you leave the cat in the trailer when you go exploring? We don't know if our cat would like traveling.

I should have clarified.
Kaelee (the GoldenDoodle) is our GoldenRetriever/Poodle.
And it will be a LONG 3 days, so likely will leave her at home this time.
Later this fall or next sprint take her and our little dog on local weekend trips.
Just getting our first RV then dragging it 400 miles home will be enough fun for me.
