Hello all,

Just thought I would share some things about our first trip with our new R-Pod 180.

This past long weekend Jenn and I headed out to Prince Edward Island from our home in Halifax. We stayed at the Prince Edward Island National Park in Stanhope. What a great park. We had a site with only water and electricity as we wanted a spot which offered more privacy than what the full hookup sites offered, but all the sites are very well maintained. The combination bathroom, shower and laundromat facilities were very clean and well maintained. It was truly beautiful place to spend four days with warm sunny days for the whole stay.

Setting up the pod was effortless and everything worked as expected. Of course, I could have done a better job of leveling out the first time… We used our electric water heater for the first time and we were very happy with how hot the water got when it came time to clean our dishes and wash our hands. Because we didn’t have sewer hookups we decided to shower using the parks facilities as to not fill our grey water tank and not be able to dump it, so we didn’t get to test out how hot the water would be when two people took showers back to back. As the temperatures dropped some at night we were able to test out our heater and can report that it warmed up the small space very well.

We are both looking forward to our next trip.

Wow. We went at The Marco-Polo Campground (North Rustico/Green Gables) and it was such a great place. I only have good words for PEI. Such a nice place.

Glad everything is ok with your 180. Leveling is not that hard once you get the touch!
