Good luck. I hope you are as excited about your purchase as we are about our new purchase! Just went out today and purchased about $200 of startup supplies and we won't even receive ours for about another 8 to 10 weeks or so.

We're pretty excited, but since school has already started for the kids we won't have any trips for a while. I think that we'll sleep in the cul-de-sac for a night pretty soon though

We're relatively new owners of the '17 Rpod 179. On August 31, we headed out in our Anchorage purchased unit and have run it down the Alaska Highway, through Yukon Territories, BC, through Seattle, and the Oregon Coast North to South (to the redwoods near Crescent City, CA) then up through Crater Lake and on to Idaho (family there) and are now visiting old friends in Fort Collins, Colorado. This tough little curve-top has really stood up to the varied road conditions including some chlly downpour nights, where we've cooked, heated and slept soundly until that next sunny day. All functions remain fully intact. The slide goes in and the slide goes out. Have concluded that Forest River did a really good job mass producing a trailer that basically holds together. Even the tires have held up and have shown little wear. We only had to re-attach the electrical brake wires near the axle once. This was accomplished at the helpful dealership in Coos Bay, OR, (Uneek RV) and that was due to a stretch of road construction that threw sharp blasts of gravel at the front of the trailer rear axle. So, with trailer brakes restored, we're real happy with how tough and durable the "WanderPod" has been. We've adopted many mods suggested by other Podders, (some on YouTube), and have also come up with a unique and helpful one of our own. So, just wanted to share with new owners, that our intense 5000+ mile road time has been good, and should support your decision to buy. And if you spot another Podder coming the other direction on a highway, give 'em a wave! Let's continue to support each other at all levels of "expertise" and non-expertise. Most of all be thankful you were able to enjoy an RV at some point in your life. Be careful, be pro-active and most of all have fun with your co-podder(s) on the road.

Congratulations on your new POD and your fantastic trip! We have had our 179 since June and have been super happy with it! We full-time and have been on the road and year and a half (started out with a tiny teardrop and moved up to the POD). Wishing you many more adventures!
