The switch is already water proof. Mine has been exposed to the elements, mounted through the top of the battery box, for +3 years in a state that gets +55 inches of rain annually. No issues.

I bought a long mirror from Walmart that has brackets that hang over the bathroom door.  It can't slide off with the door closed when traveling.  It can't even slide off with the door open, since the second bracket gets stopped by the hook that already comes on the door.
Happy tails and trails!

Glad to here that the switch is water proof Furpod. So now I guess I can move on to other Mods to do.
Think I'll try the window in the door next.
If I wasn't retired, I'd have a lot more time to do them.
Having fun with the step up from our Tab.

Hello, we did a mod on our 2015 171 reclaimed the wasted space, moved the radio up and gained a shelf. Also hubby made a cook-top cover out of a portable tv dining table for under $15.

Does anyone know where to get the shelving nets?
Thanks

Great mods. How did you connect the Roth & Allen shelf to the walls.
Thanks, Podgirl

I used 3" steel "L" brackets and "Molly" type anchors for the walls.

You're welcome!
For one of the rear shelves, we used the  bracket that is available at Lowes from Allen + Roth
