Due to the R dome poles not fitting into the storage area properly, I pulled the bed panels off to cut out a section of the forward water heater panel so the poles could extend into that compartment.
While working there I discovered a lot of sawdust, wood bits, pieces of wire and other debris left over from manufacturing. After seeing that, I did a closer look at some of the usually un-seen areas and found screws started but not driven in, cracked support members around attachment screws, and other debris.
Most of my working life was involved in quality control so maybe I'm more sensitive to what impresses customers (either positively, or negatively), but some of the mentioned issues strike me as unprofessional at best.

Sawdust and the like are pretty normal for the RV industry (not just a Pod or Forest River issue). If the cracked supports and such are of concern, I recommend a trip to the dealer while still under warranty.

Thanks guys.
It's just disappointing that for the price people pay for their RVs that the manufacturer doesn't take the time to do a quick cleaning of the building debris.
The cracked supports were from trying to drive too big of a screw through too little material. I just removed the screws, closed the splits and used CA glue (from a remote control airplane building hobby)to fix them. Then pre-drilled to just under screw diameter and replaced the screws.

It is not just the manufacturer, the dealer usually charges you for "dealer" prep! They should go through the trailer head to toe to guarantee that things are in order!
