Does anyone know of a suction cup that works better than the ones that come with the Dome?  I have a lot of trouble getting the suction cups to stick.  My R-Pod is a brand-new 179.

We did wet them, we tried hot water, and they still don't stick well.  Is there anything else that someone could suggest?

I bought bigger suction cups with hooks at the hardware store and that seemed to help.

I haven't tried in for years, but wetting suction cups with glycerine works well for a lot of applications, like in johns.  Glycerine is nearly non-volatile so it doesn't dry out as water does.  It's also water soluble, so it will wash off quickly and won't hold a lot of dust/dirt.  It's available in most drug stores.
