I just viewed the small visor offered online for. R pods.  Any information ,or advice  ?  It would be great for times you just want a little  shade or rain protection over front door etc.

The usual problem is that the file is too large. Photos need to be less than 500KB in size. What I do (in Windows 7) is open a picture in "MS Paint" and resize it (usually about to about 20%). Then "Save As" a different file name, in order to preserve the original.

When ready to upload, click on the little "tree" icon with the arrow and follow the prompts.

The process is a little cumbersome but, the software package will not allow a larger picture file size.

We have the Pa-ha-Que Visor and are pleased with it.  It provides a fair amount of shade/rain protection above the door and windows.  It's easy to put up and take down.

The Visor vs. R-Dome is apples and oranges.  The Dome is large, and intended to serve as a second room for your Pod.  The Visor provides just a bit of protection.  The advantage of the Visor, though, is that the guy lines attach to the bottom rail on your Pod, rather than sticking out.  We find that many sites we camp at have trees or rocks or other barriers that would prevent us from putting up a Dome or even attaching poles or guy lines that extend beyond the Pod.

For one of the R-Pods which has the door in the middle, the PahaQue Visor would likely be quite adequate. For the 179 with the rear door, I do not think the Visor would provide much protection. I could be wrong though.

I am in the process of making an awning. I am waiting for some parts to arrive. It shouldn't take too long to finish once they get here.
