Hi.
We are Dionne and Garret from Redmond, WA.
We just got our new 177 a few weeks ago, and our maiden voyage will be a 2 night stay at Deception Pass State Park. Today, as we were loading some gear, we noticed that the back window was leaking, and the mattress was soaked, along with the wood platform underneath. OOOOPS! hope to gt this fixed before our trip next week. A little disheartening to have a problem before we even hit the road....but probably more convenient this way!

We are beach people, and have lots of coastal camping planned for this Spring and Summer!

I must say your taking it pretty good, especially for a new RV.  Have a great trip.

We will be in Redmond (Inglewood Hill area) in May with our 180  to visit the in-laws.  Sorry to hear about the problems hope your dealer will resolve them before you hit the road on a long trip. I think I remember reading about wet mattresses in this forum.  Do a search, can not remember what the outcome was.

Anyway welcome, maybe we will see you on the road when we are up there.

Hopefully all the bugs will be worked out NOW.  As far as the mattress you will probably want to throw it out anyway and replace it with something c o m f o r t a b l e.  We used ours 3 times and replaced it with a Euro mattress from camping world.  That was 5 years ago, still a great sleeper!
Picked up our 177 in March of 2011, love the floor plan and have taken it all over this wonderful country, except north and east of Pennsylvania and along the west coast, never been to Washington, Oregon, California, Hawaii, or Alaska.  Enjoy your 177 and welcome to this forum.

Our dealer, (Poulsbo RV) replaced our mattress, (actually gave us a large credit for a much more comfortable one) and also replaced the plywood under the mattress. I am happy to say that the various bugs, (including a leaky sink) have all been worked out, and we are enjoying one trip each month. Next up: Lopez Island with our bicycles!
