Hello all, my names Tyler and im 25 years old. Just bought my first travel trailer. A 2016 R-Pod 178, just picked it up today and im really excited about my new adventures ahead. Will mainly be dry camping at places to ride dirt bikes, but im sure occasionally will go to nice campground and such. Also purchased a new Yamaha 2000 generator, with plans of getting another one in a few months to link together for A/C use. Any recommendations or comments welcome.

Your 2004 f-150 is in fantastic condition.  My 1994 F-150 looks like it is ready for the boneyard but still runs great even after 300,000 miles and 31 deer kills.  It has a stick shift with OD and has the 5.0 L V-8 and has a lot of rust, thank you Michigan salt.  We just upgraded from a '08 Explorer to a '13 Explorer.  Looking forward to getting out, most of the snow has melted in the past 5 days, getting older - am glad to see the white stuff disappearing.

Thanks man! It's not in too bad of shape. 125,000 miles on it now. I was a Chevy guy but this truck turned me into a Ford guy. I also had a 95 single cab short bed with a 5.0, good trucks.

Congrats on the explorer, those newer ones are real nice

Mine is becoming a rarity in this part of the country.  Stick shift, single cab, long bed.  Great for hauling wood.  Only put 1.5 cords in at a time now, got to be easy on her, don't want to break her back.

Funny thing happened in a town near ours a few weeks ago.  They broke into his '89 F-250, knocked out the ignition switch and had the truck running, problem is they didn't know how to drive
a stick/clutch!  The owner heard someone grinding a couple pounds off his clutch, went outside but didn't catch the would-be truck-jacker.  I guess that is a plus that the younger crowd for the most part haven't ever driven a stick.  The majority of cars I owned up until my '90 Grand Caraven were sticks, '64 Dodge Polara 500 (hemi), '64 Dodge Polara 440 (hemi) '69 Corvette, '76 AMC Gremlin.  Those were all fun to drive, except the the Gremlin, that was a humble-maker.
