hi
i have a 2011 rp176t that i'm trying to update . i checked the wheel bearings and found out the whole brake assy needs to be replaced. it looks like they are 10" dexter brake assy's.
would 10" dexter brakes rated for 3,500 lbs be ok for this rpod?
thanks hickorystickCry

You have a 3500lb axle, either Dexter or Lippert.

thanks for the quick response.
it is a dexter 10" assy.
the whole trailer is about 2400 lbs., so i guess it would fall under the 3,5oo# wt.
i found the complete brake assy, including the electric magnet, on amazon for under $50.00, and there is not much work involved.
my labor is free so thats not bad for  a complete brake job.
thanks again

There are youtube videos that cover the whole process, if you need a refresher or anything.
