Got a late start because of the storm . We went Chincoteague Island first, storm came, went back to Vermont. Storm passed, went to Cape Hatteras!!
Three days here and 16 fish and assortment of Whiting, pompano, flounder, puffer fish and black drum so far!!

Home to Chincoteague is 670 mile made it in two days.
Home to Cape Hatteras was 832 made that in two long days!!
Now is the pay off haven't left the beach in four days

Your fishing report sounds great. Sure does bring back memories. I was stationed in Boston in the eighties and fished on the beaches of Quincy many times. It sure was fun when the Blues ran. We sure miss those days but now living in Texas, kind of spoiled without the winters.

I bet ! We used to fish the Cape Cod canal and beaches around the Cape and catch quite a few Blues!! Great memories!!

Saw a lot of bait fish coming back in, now we need some red drum!!

Wow!!! I have fished for many years and have never caught a red drum. I hear they are a fierce fighting fish. I do plan to get down on the coast for a guided trip one of these days.

I see you are in VT, I bet the foliage is beginning to turn colors now. I can remember driving up Interstate 95 from Boston to check out the scenery. Absolutely gorgeous!!
