Hi
Can anyone tell me where the check valve for the black water tank flush is located for my 2011 177.
Thanks
Ed

Sounds like a question for Forest River. Probably in an inaccessible spot, if there is one ;)

2014 177 was (installed backwards) behind the bathroom sink. Easy to reverse the valve. Hard to remove the sink and caulking and reinstall!

Thanks
I'm thinking that it might be reversed. I will take a look for it today.

You MIGHT be able to reach up behind the sink and reach it. But it would be lucky if you did. I would try to feel around a bit since I can't guarantee it is in the same place on the 2011.

The first time I went to dump and flush, no water would go into the flush hose (you can tell.) I was dumping at my dealer on a Sunday and the on duty guy said the check valve installed backwards is a "common problem" and made me a service appointment. I bought used so no warranty. So I did some checking on this forum and found out where to find it and how to fix it. Like I said, easy fix, pain to remove and reinstall the sink.

Ours was installed backwards also. Blue Dog RV in Coeur d'Alene was our dealer and they fixed it right up when we brought it in for our annual checkup.
