Well went and looked at the 182G that we thought would be great for us BUT then saw the 183G. DW is leaning towards the 183G and I am beginning to agree with her as  I have 2 braces on legs and the bath in the 182G is a step up to get into and could create problems in the night since we also have a Golden.

Any owners of either have and comments pros or cons would be welcome.

Storage in the 183 looks great vs having to use the upper bunk in the 182. Price difference was minimal.
Now the mulling begins.
Thanks Ouch

It depends on sleeping space. If it's just the two of you, then it's a no brainer. If you have kids or grandkids that won't be in a tent, the 183 probs won't cut it.

Absolute no-brainer unless you need bunks.  In fact, I would argue you could buy a couple cots and have people sleep in the r-dome, at which point the 182g has no advantage.

Buy the 183g and make it a popular model so it is still around in a few years when i want to buy one.

As they say "upon further review" think we are set on the 183G. Will most likely wait till "winter" when the temps drop at least into the 70's ( getting real tired of mid 90's to 100 every day) and school is in session. We love going to the beaches during fall winter and spring here in the South.
Will post when the "big day" arrives. Thanks again
