I'm Ron and just joined the forum after having purchased a "like new 2013 RP-177.  Intend to use it for local trips in central Michigan up to and including the Upper Peninsula.  Also plan to tow to Glacier Park MT later this summer.

Tow vehicle is a 2nd generation Toyota Sienna which limited the size RV we could consider.  The R-Pod seems to be among the best of the light weights aside from the stratospherically priced Airstream. Plan a shakedown learning for a single overnight next weekend.

Mileage on our sienna was a shocker ! 24.4 mpg on way to pick up the camper about 60 miles from home; 9.8 mpg on way home towing the RP-177.  Japanese precision engineering to optimize Sienna native fuel economy apparently has a wrench thrown into the equation when the trailer is added.

My first help question:  The lower rubber seal on the slide out has fallen partially out of it's retaining track causing it to sag visibly.  What is the magic to re affix the seal into it's mounting track.  Tried unsuccessfully to pinch the rubber and simply slide it back in place.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Welcome to the group!! Congrats on your 177!! The mileage is indeed a shocker. I find that 60 ish  gets me the best mpg in my Dodge Grand Caravan which is 25-27 on the highway, 13.5-15.5 towing our pod.
Wind is a big factor along with if you tow with full or partially full or empty tanks.

Happy podding!!
