It is tough see the screen clearly unless you stand up

We have a 2016 R-pod 179 with a 19' swivel tv. I went to Walmart and bought a Sanus Tilting TV Wall Mount for about $21. I removed the vertical brackets and the mount matched the pre-drilled mounting screws exactly on the back of the tv. I then clamped and drilled holes in the old wall bracket to attach the tilting attachment. This process took about 15 minutes. It now swivels and tilts!

I had tried to paste the link from the forum and couldn't get it to happen for some reason. Was able to paste it from your message and immediately located and bought the part.
Thanks so much ! Sally

I tried to find this part on Amazon by the number you provided and am coming up empty handed. Can you give any more info for the search, i.e. brand name, size, description etc. Thanks ! Sally

hello all; as i mentioned above, i broke my tv the other night trying to bend it down to view from bed. thats ok, as i have wanted to replace it anyway. i want to leave the cabinet up, and just want to replace the tv with a tv/dvd combo (not the radio)under the cabinet. and thoughts/suggestions on what size tv and a mounting bracket that would tilt down more and work for good viewing? thanks for any suggestions. hogone

hogone finally has the answer for the tv when laying in bed. bend it down until it breaks!! yup, that's what happened last weekend. is now hanging there by the wire. been wanting to do this mod since purchase, well now ill get to do it. will only replace the tv/dvd, not the radio. so will be looking at mounting brackets and new tv. any good suggestions on tv/dvd combo is appreciated. hogone

I have a 179 also and had the same problem. I took the arm off and put it in a bench vise and slowly bent it about 20 degrees. Works fine in bed and dining area

I didn't change the whole swivel. I bought the part listed below and bolted it to the current swivel, then to the TV. I guess the mod is pretty much the same either way. Mainly for tilting down so you can sit or watch tv in bed.
