Has anyone had problems with there fan not working.Looking for some troubleshooting suggestions  if the  fuse replacement does not work.  Thanks

If you have trouble with it after the fuse change, call them. Fantastic Fan has GREAT customer support.

Probably a dumb question, but you did open the vent, yes? 
The fan won't run with the vent closed.

...good point, could be related to that switch. I think the Fantastic Fan is guaranteed for life!

Yes we did have it up. Could be that the switch may not have activated. Thanks for your positive suggestions. I'll go and try it again tomorrow.

Sometime the switch that depresses when you close the fan lid sticks and needs some grease.

You remove the screen and you will see it on one of the cross pieces it is a plunger type switch. Would be easier if you had a ladder and go from the top. We fixed ours while at Cape Hatteras so we had to go up through from inside. Greased it and it worked fine after that.

It's a small little "post" kind of thing, feels kind of like a ball point pen clicker.. It should push down easy, and then pop back up.
