Which one? as far as I know, only the AWD EcoBoost carries a high enough rating to tow a pod. (4500lbs)

I should be okay with my ford flex.    Have you used or tried the canopy tent screen. Is it worth it or hassle. I was going to have the dealer throw one in

If you do a search for R-Dome on this site, you'll probably get about 10,000 hits.  And probably 15,000 opinions. The short answer to your question is  - It depends.

It depends on how you camp, where you camp, how much time you like to spend setting up camp, taking down camp, how much room you need under cover, time of year, temperature, weather...

We didn't use ours til the end of the second year. We found it helpful to use as an awning only so that we could keep windows open during rainstorms. Others love it and won't camp without it. Others never us it.

It depends.

Thank you for info on the tent screen. I kinda thought it would get in way. Your right depending on how long my stay will be would make a big difference. I'm going camping first trip to lake tulloch here in california and will not be able to use it because they have picnic tables with awnings. I think bringing the rpod screen will just be in the way this trip.
