I have been using a lug nut wrench to check the lug nuts. A friend told me recently that a torque wrench was better ... less chance of breaking the lugs. If that is true, what torque force should be used?
Thanks

Thanks Marwayne,
I have owned a Forest River product for eight years or more --- both trailers had the same notice you kindly sent me.  The problem was that I thought a "lug" wrench was a "torque" wrench.  Showed my ignorance obviously.
thanks

Here's the torque specs from my owners manual, does anyone know what size wrench is used for lug nuts?

Mine takes a 3/4" socket. You'll need to get a deep socket or extend it to get out far enough for the wrench handle.
