Tomorrow is my first time out in the RPod 179. I'm not going far from home but I go there all the time on my motorcycle and love it. I have everything packed except the frig food. I'll do that at last minute. I'm a little concerned about putting up the RDome all by myself. Basically my left arm is toast so it makes it a problem. I had a total elbow on the left (and of course I'm left handed) so I can't lift more than 2 pounds. I have learned to be very creative though.
I was not happy with the TV and how I couldn't tilt it so I can see the picture well. I ordered a part and will work on it while I'm camped so see if it works out.

Most end up buying a tiltable mount from Amazon for the TV, everyone seems to think it's rather mandatory to even use the TV most times.  I agree the angles are weird otherwise.

Good luck with the dome, if as you say you're creative I bet you'll find a way that suits you.

It works ok if you sit at the table but the tilt thingy came before I left. I haven't installed it yet.
I'm thrilled I installed the rdome all by myself! Pretty good for one bad wing.

I brought the part I ordered to the campsite and installed it there. The new tilt makes all the difference on watching TV.

I bought the tilt off of Amazon
http://www.amazon.com/Jensen-MAF20-Wall-Mounting-Bracket/dp/B003XIYTF8/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1431709539&sr=8-4&keywords=jenson+tilt+for+tv
This is similar to what I bought

Did the MAF20 work?  I asked Forest River parts, and they said the MAF30 would also work:

Maybe I'll order it and give it a try...
