Has anyone looked into replacing the Pod microwave/convection oven with a propane oven, one that would fit in the space occupied by the microwave? I rarely use the microwave because I rarely camp in sites with electricity. I don't even know if they make rv propane ovens that small, at least, I can't find any on the net. Venting would have to be installed, etc.

I think your two choices would be a RV "range" installed where the current cook top is, and losing those drawers, or going to one of the CampChef outdoor ranges. My brother has one for cooking for his tribe, and seems to like it.

Thanks.  I hadn't thought about the outdoor oven option.

We have the CampChef portable oven it works great. Its a little small but big enough for most things. It would be to hot to be placed in a cabinet it needs some space around it. But using it outside on a table works great and keeps the heat out of the camper. We would recommend it, ours doesn't have the burners on top just the oven.
