Look on the back of the hard plastic one.  There may be a nut on a bolt that is connected to the regulator to hold it inside the cover.

I have a small screw coming out of back of my cover.Looks like it holds the regulator. It is attatched to inside of my black cover. A wing nut holds it on outside. Do I disconnect it. I need to remove cover to fill tank. Thx.

Another example of a post that starts with an issue, then switches to a different subject. If the issue you have is NOT about the OP, then start a new post. We're offering suggestions to two different issues. Too confusing and not worth suggesting to.

Bailey - I would start taking apart until I figured it out , then recall how I did that in future. Multiple manufactures and different products, I appreciate the suggestions and the fact folks are helping, without knowing what you have it is a crap shoot.

This one reason the Advanced Search has issues.

Sorry, that should have been a separate topic.

I removed the wing nut attatched to back of frame holding tank and the cover lifted off easily. Thanks for the advice.
