My husband and I just purchased a 2015 179. After about a year of comparing and waiting for a dealer in Oklahoma, we picked it up a week ago. We have two teens and one traveling dog. My husband is originally from Duluth, Minnesota. So we plan on going far and wide with this. I love it on so many different levels. I want to say thanks to this forum, it helped with our final decision. You have already provided us with needed information.

Congrats!  Our family makeup is very similar and we looked long and hard at the 179 as well.  I am sure you will love it!
