i was watching a video about the essentials for camping. The guy who filmed it has a 179 as well. I am amazed about all the stuff you actually need to get going. But there was not 1 item he showed in his 40 minute video that I don't now think I need.
I know there was storage under the couch on the end by the bed and the end at the back was reserved for electrical. But what about the space under the long bench against the wall. Is that storage? I can not remember checking under there. Anyone want to snap a pic for me? The video I watched It was very informational. He also has 2 videos highlighing the Rpod 179: Thank you for responding.

Ninjamini-if you are talking about under the seat in the slide out there is nothing there. All that's there is the bottom of the slide box. That's why it slides over the inside boxes left and right of the seat.

Sorry I dont get what you mean. I never actually closed the slide while I was looking. Is there storage under this cushion? if not what is in there?

No storage. It is an deceiving to the eye. Run the slide out and go look outside.

Agree, there is no storage under the couch/seat.

 Well thank you.I get what you mean. The bottom of the slide is at the seat level of the bench. Well that was a missed opportunity for some great storage.

I would say that would have created a weight issue on the slide motors having to move the storage. It fooled me when I first walked into our 179 :)
