I was told tempurpedic (sp) will custom make a mattress for you. I have the 3" memory foam on the top and hate it....wake up with a back ache. I'll try putting it under first but if that doesn't work I'm going to have one made.

I used a 3" TempurPedic topper, but discovered that it worked better (for me) when used UNDER the original mattress in my 2015 177. I trimmed it with an electric meat carving knife. :-)

I just spent in first night on our new mattress and I LOVE it (still in bed on my iPad)

Initially we put a 3" memory foam on the factory mattress and my back couldn't take it after only 2 nights.

I added a queen 3" memory foam topper and then put a pad down----perfect!
Note: you have to get out the electric knife and cut off about 5" for it to fit.

we put a 3 inch memory foam topper over the factory so called mattress. It is ok for back sleeping, but expect sore hips if you ar a side sleeper

We just purchased our RPOD 179 last weekend and have already notice the bed beginning to develop a hump in the middle. We have a sleep number bed at home and noticed they make one for campers. Has anyone tried it? Is it worth the investment?

Hey Rick! I bought the mattress you recommended from Amazon and we love it. Thanks for the response and the link to it on Amazon, much appreciated.
