It looks like this in my Camplite. The Pod is a little different, but it fits. As I recall the fitting is down toward the sink in the Pod. And can be bought here: http://www.amazon.com/Danco-89171-Shut-Off-Shower-Chrome/dp/B000JFNPJE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1419369536&sr=8-1&keywords=danco+shut+off+valve or at Lowes/HD/Ace. I prefer this to the on/off type because you can regulate the flow to your likes. |

Thanks Charlie. I notice that, on Amazon and Home Depot, there are several Danco shower shutoff designs, some attach to the shower water outlet and then to the hose and one - a button operated device like the original Oxygenics off/on value.. Do you have a Danco part number that might guide my choice .... or a picture of how you attach the shutoff to the faucet assembly? Thanks for your advice. I too struggle with sitting the darn shower head off when bathing in the pod's cramped shower "stall."

Put the Danco brass shutoff right at the faucet assembly and attach the hose to it. The shutoff on the Oxygenics is impossible to operate with one hand. Remove and junk it. |

Headcold & CharlieM, thanks for the info/updates on the Oxygenics. I hadn't considered using a brass shutoff but it sure makes sense. Every little bit of info helps!

Yesterday, as promised, I went to Lowes and purchased an AquaSource stainless steel shower hose (#001115), which is a stainless steel hose, unlike the Oxygenics hose. I fitted it to the Pod shower outlet. I'll see how it works when it becomes warm enough around here (May) to dewinterize it.

The Oxygenics Spa shower head is great, but be sure to also get a true metal (not plastic with fake metal) spiral wrapped hose and add a brass shutoff. These are available at Lowe's . Problem solved.

I'm going to Lowe's tomorrow. They have a whole shelf of replacement shower hoses and fittings. I'll let you know what I find and post a picture if possible.

Headcold, any luck finding metal fittings? Or a stronger plastic connection?

"Oxygenics shower head sounds like a good idea."
The head works great; but the hose fittings are plastic, and the one that fits on shower head shattered last October upon hand tightening, forcing me to put it back together with Gorilla Glue and Gorilla Tape. A few minutes ago, I pulled it out of the sleeping Pod and will run down to Lowes to see if I can find something with metal fittings. |

I did the Anderson connection for 6ga wire and soldered it. I like to take my battery inside in the winter. Makes it a little easier. I can also see from a distance if I remembered to disconnect the battery after a trip.
