I called my dealer after seeing the post here about the r-pod cover forest river is making... he is sending me one at cost - $300, plus shipping. It seems a little high still but not if it is custom made and has a snug fit.

My guy there doug told me that they are making them avail to their past customers at their cost and as an option on new orders at cost as well. I'll let everyone know what I think of it when i get it.

I also just got my spare tire cover last week that blew off - rv nation send it to me at no cost as well.

Was it made specifically for the R-Pod?  Or was it a generic cover?

I ordered the rpod cover too! When I get it I'll post my thoughts...I wish I had it already...stupid Home Owners Association is sending me warnings about my camper being parked next to the house...the tan cover looked like a good match to my house.

Tell them you are doing some EXTENSIVE work on it and can't hurry.  That should put them off for a while.Wink

I seen the post in a quick search of covers. I see now it is listed at the 300$ price.

We received our r-pod cover from Jeff Couch's on Monday.  Glad we got this as we will be leaving our r-pod in the driveway...when we are not camping in it Wink.

How well do these covers fit? Will wind cause any "flapping" and damage the Pod in any way? Any humidity issues inside the Pod with the cover on it for days/weeks?

Probably the best thing to do would be to leave a window cracked on each end for air circulation.
