While coping in Chincoteague VA. On the 2 nd night the door light alarm on the refrigerator kept going off on it cycle
At 0230 in the morning. The quick fix was to unplug the the power cord to the back of the inside light. Will get it fixed when we return home under warranty. Just an FYI if anyone else has the same thing happen

My fridge door was slightly warped and caused the beeping. Does it beep if you latch the door?

We've encountered a problem where the refrigerator will start beeping mysteriously. It turns out that you just need to push the door in tightly or else it senses the door isn't closed and starts beeping.

Yep, same thing here, that is what mine was doing and I discovered the door was slightly warped b/c the plastic bins inside were mis-arranged and pushing on the door, sitting like that for months on the sales lot with the door latched. Dometric is sending me a new door. Try latching the fridge (travel mode)...if it stops, it's probably warped and won't seal properly in camp mode, that is...without the latch.

Camp mode?  Travel mode?  I guess I've missed something.  How do you put the fridge in travel vs camp mode?  Embarrassed

As they say...a picture is worth a thousand words...

Without the latch in play (camp mode) the door works like a home Fridge, you don't have to push the latch button to open, just pull the door open like at home. Saves wear and tear on you latch and prevents accidental pulls on the door when the latch is engaged...easier to open.

Will it beep with the light connected AND the fridge latched?

Thanks!  I hadn't noticed that difference before.  Turns out ours has always been in travel mode.  What is it they say? .. When in doubt, read the instructions?  What a concept!

Then there is also between-camp (or winterization) mode.  The catch - the part mounted on the wall inside - will slide forward to keep the fridge open a crack to prevent odors and mold.
