I'm almost ready to put my order in for a new 177.  I see a lot of 177s for sale with the microwave, A/C, and entertainment system already included.  I want to oder a new 177 without those items, but unsure what those items cost in order to make a reasonable offer to the dealer.  In other words, if I see a new 177 loaded with those 3 items and the total cost is $18,000, what would I expect the cost to be without those 3 items?  Thanks!

I paid $15,500 for a fully loaded 179 in Walton, KY. Every option available in the largest pod.

Every option except the Hood River Edition?  That would have brought it closer to $16K probably.

Hood River not available in KY. Also - the ONLY difference with that one now is tire tread, and a few colors on some stuff.

Whatever you get, be sure to get the axle risers. These things sit low and are easy to drag without them. Our dealer orders all of them with the risers because they had to do so many repairs on the ones without. It also brings the step to a more normal height.

I thought the longest pod was 20 feet, and there are about 5 models at 20 feet.  How can the 179 be the largest?  In what way is it larger?  I think it's the newest?  I do like the 179.  Thanks.

The slide on a 179 is wider and deeper, making it the largest pod.  Check the floor plans on the R-Pod web site.

The 179 doesn't slope at the back. It is a longer amount of headroom which allows the kitchen to be at the back. Also the amount of storage space is amazing.

R-dome is $535 plus tax directly from Forest River.  Anything more is just that, more.  Took 2 weeks to get, as it was on back order.  Just got it last week.
