First pic is tube w/RhinoFLEX hose and fittings inside. Second pic is the fresh ham I've been cooking all day and just finished basting again - only 2 hours to go! Thumbs Up

wish  I could have found  that when I did mine, very nice.

Edited to remove Ham pic (quoted in next post). It looked a little too much like Spam, but tasted great! -fred

we did the same thing as Craneman-use a 5" pvc fence post for the sewer pipe holder. It holds 15' rhinoflex and the end fitting. the cap is held on with small bungee cords. I used right angle brackets that are screwed to the frame to secure it. I mounted it transverse and immediately behind the cleanout valve.I also mounted a clear plastic kitchen storge container to hold the 45 degree clear backflush fitting.  the lid "locks"on with 4 snaps-1 on each side.

Thanks Charlie. Your advice helped. I did drop an email first and got a quick response from GM who said just put it in the notes. Interesting...when installing I notice broken tab on black tank cover end. I think the long winter took a little toll. Ordered a new one.

Thanks again. Your experience(s) have saved me endless hours!

Good job, Fred. Glad it worked out. That's about what I said in my note, but they ignored it. Glad you used SS screws.

Just to add to the D&W SuperTube...

http://www.dwincorp.com/products/82/SUPER-TUBE

I just mounted a D&W SuperTube to the bottom of my 178. I ordered a 61 1/2" tube for the 15' RhinoFLEX Hose. Spec'd 61 1/2" in the order notes. Ordered it on 4/15. Total cost was $77.34 w/shipping and it fits perfectly with all attachments. I used some stainless self-tappers for the mount.

Now I have the perfect PooPath!

FYI, the note I put in the order form:

Please Note: I am ordering a 61 1/2" Super Tube for my rPod 178.

61 1/2" Super Tube.

Thank You!

Craneman,

That looks cool.  Nice paint job on it. I like the clever use of the bungie beads.
