Just got back from a weekend trip to this beautiful state park. Huge, secluded, sites with full hook-ups (including sewer). This historic site has great hiking trails and a self-guided tour of the site of the last battle of the civil war. Perfect weekend getaway for us - just a 20 minute drive. Just a few miles off I-10 near Mobile, AL.

Looks like you had the park to yourself. We haven't had the pod in Alabama yet and this looks like a good stop on our way to visit friends in Louisiana.

Great location. Not to far from us in Picayune. Just put it on the top of my list, my wife will love it.
Looks like a good place for a mini rally. Let us know when a few poders want to meet, we will join you. |

It really is beautiful, and all the rangers there are great. We are going to spend a few days there over the Christmas break. Will grab some more photos.
