Just got back from a 12 day trip to Florida; chilly 13.5 here in St. Louis this morning.  Glad I winterized before I left.  Overall good trip, very little sun however.  Give more details later after i get a little coffee in me!!.  Only disappointing thing was my overall gas mileage...........9.9.  Granted I  drove in alot of wind............torrential on way home yesterday all the way.  The flats in northern Arkansas and southern Missouri was brutal.  The 2 Florida campgrounds I stayed in were extremely nice........clean and spacious.  Hogpod performed flawlessly!  hogone

I agree, Florida has not lived up to its nickname of "the sunshine state" this November!

But be thankful for the weather you do have!  Yesterday our temperature climbed all the way up to 19 degrees AND we were blessed with 4 - 5 " of beautiful snow.  It's a wonderful world we live in.

Sorry, never got back with any details.  We stayed at Silver Springs and Henderson Beach State Parks.  Both very nice parks.  Silver Springs on the river outside Ocala and Henderson Beach on the gulf in Destin.  Both very nice and RV/camper friendly parks.  Spacious sites, very clean, easy access, etc.  I was very impressed with the two parks we stayed in.  nothing like Missouri state Parks where you are camping on top of eachother.  Have a fun and safe trip francoisfrogpod.  Happy Thanksgiving to all.  hogone
