I would like to add a larger TV to the open space when coming in the door on left side of a 178. I understand it can be done and with a zero clearance adjustable arm but how is the bracket mounted. No studs to mount to? Wing nuts? I do know the shower is on the back side and I don't want to penetrate thru the shower wall. Thanks for your help as this will be my first mod to our 2013 R Pod which was just purchased this past weekend.

There is a "stud" directly down the middle. I used it to install a swing out arm with a 19 inch TV.

I have a 178 and am interested in installing a bracket as well.

1. What brand and model bracket is recommended for versatility?
2. Can you view the tv from the bed?
3. Do you remove the TV during traveling or is it sturdy enough to remain in place?
4. How large of TV will fit in the space provided and any TV brand recommendations?

Thanks in advance.

I put in a 19 inch tv/DVD combo (DVD goes in the top).

No we can't watch it in bed....the bathroom is in the way. We watch it from the table.

Swing out bracket I got at best buy.....nothin special

The TV can lift up and out, but I usually just push it back in, put a bungee cord in front to keep it from swinging out, and drive away.

Ok?
