The group was changed from an "open group" to a "closed group", which means you have to be a member of the group to see it.

In FB, search for "R-Pod Owners", click "join group" and once "approved" (which means as soon as Travis sees it) you will be a member.

Join us Podders and Friends for the 3rd Annual Kentucky MiniMini. Next year we are staying at Nolin Lake State Park. MoosePod is booked at site #23. Check out the MoosePod Adventures Map for details on the sites there and which if any to avoid.

Wednesday 9.17.2014 - Sunday 9.21.2014.

Book early, this park cannot hold individual sites for our gathering.

Let's beat 2013's attendance record!!!

Site #22 has become available as we have had a cancellation.  You can get this site through reserveamerica.com

We might be able to go.  We are new again to camping grounds (it has been 13 years).  Not sure about the etiquette and being able to walk to the water if our campsite is not on the water.  We will go read the camping etiquette posts to refresh ourselves. Any ideas on this topic?

You will have no trouble getting to the water. In fact the open site is just across the road from the water, and ALL the sites on the water are our group..

We have a spot on the water.  We have no problems with people accessing thru our site.  However we might charge a toll of a cold beverage!LOL

There really isn't access to the water through any of the sites there.  You'd go around the outside of the camp over to the beach area and dock points for use of the water.

These are just "over-looking" a bit of the water.

Let me know if you are for sure interested, I've got the site in Limbo currently.

Kymooses, I answered you in the introduce yourself section too.  Please do not hold the spot in limbo for us.  If it is available when we know our schedule for sure then we will make a reservation.  If nothing is available we will have to wait until next year.

We would like to go to the rally and looked into it.  The only days that a space is available for us would be the 17th and 18th.  We did not make any reservations yet because our first trip is to visit my Mom in South Dakota.  It will depend on our timing there.  We thought it would be nice to attend on our way back.  For now we will have to wait and see.  If we don't get there this year we will get there next year.  We will be retiring this September so will soon have plenty of time to travel.
