Here's a link to a site that has a number of recipes specifically for the conv/micro ovens:

YRMV but at least the model convection oven we have operates and cooks no differently that our standard oven at home.

If anything things seems too cook just a little bit slower in our Pod, but that's only slight differences.

If you can cook it at home try it in your Pod.  We just make most dishes or casserole type meals in a pyrex 8x8 pan and things turn out very well.

Often times we adjust recipes we already use at home and just make them in smaller batches in our oven!

Only hard part is remembering how to set the goofy clock each time!

I have one really basic question. Do you leave the glass turntable in or take it out when using convection-only mode or grill mode? It looks like it stays in, but the manual doesn't specify, and I don't want to crack it.

thanks!

Three seasons and we've always left ours in!

The glass tray always stays inside the oven, regardless of whether you are using the microwave, convection or both.

The metal tray is only used when using the convection oven settings, or the combination settings. If you are just going to microwave something make sure to remove it.

At home we have a electric/convection oven also.  We just have the option of whether to turn on the convection or not.  I rarely use that setting at home, the DW does for baking and swears by it.

When using Pirex do I sit the Pirex on the metal stand or sit it on the glass tray? Also I have a round piece of what I believe to be a silicone mat on the glass tray in the micro/convection. Is that what it is? Can I cook on it? That crazy clock drives me bonkers.
