I have a Honda Odyssey. That unit looks very similar to the one he recommending. You have been very helpful.

On an Odyssey the 2 in drop 4 in raise shank will probably work.

We also paid $14500 for our 2014 178. This included every available option including the axle risers, bigger AC, convection, and r-dome. I was very happy with the price.

KyMooses: We live in New Richmond OH, about 25 miles east of Cincinnati along the river, but I work in Northern KY. We spend a lot of time in KY! Bought our pod at Delightful Days.
Would love to hear more about the mini mini!

Where did you buy yours?

I purchased a Fastway E2 Hitch at this site
You would need to add a ball to it as it does not come with one. This ball fits the Pod
Rvwholesalers also ships for free on orders over $124. This is a good deal as this is heavy and would cost a lot to ship.
Etrailer.com also has it but is is a little bit more expensive. The hardest part about purchasing a WDH is figuring out what you need to get for a shank. What do you have as a Tow Vehicle?

We purchased ours in Macon, GA.  We ended up about $500 above the Couch quote when you factored in delivery charges, plus they did not have one in stock at the time.

Thank you again, we have tent camped with our kids for 7 years and are ready for the next step. I love reading all the comments on this forum.

Both of these prices seem expensive. I am assuming this is installed. I installed my own and I was under $500 for everything. The difference between the two will be the weight rating. The one I have on my Pod is rated for a 6000 lbs trailer and 600 lbs tongue weight. This is more than My Tow vehicle is rated for so I was comfortable with this rating. you will see them from 3500/350 to 10000/1000 the tongue weight rating is usually 10% of the trailer weight rating

I wanted it, didn't want to wait, so coughed it up.

Are you actually a Kentuckian LindaP?  Lots of us here in the bluegrass state are Podders, we'd love to meet up with you sometime.

The Ky Mini Mini in September is slowly starting to shape up if you are interested!
