@andyrpod190  Congrats!  We really enjoyed our first two days camping in it.  It was a breeze to tow behind the Honda.  And we gave it a good trial in the Appalachia of TN, NC, and VA!

Audio tape the walk through so you can refer to it later.

I purchased it at an auction last fall and this is our first season with it...if I recall, there was some confusion when I went to register it as the bill of sale had "2010" on it, though it's a 2011 model year....the person who wrote the bill up (at the auction house) was confused over the VIN #.
Forrest River, and I think most RV manufacturers, play fast and loose with the VIN/model year. For example, we got out RP-179 in late June 2016, the VIN says it's a 2017 model, but it looks just like the 2016 versions. So we have a green 2017.

I think the closest you will get is the VIN.

Hi Jay!

Good luck! We are newbies also and are exploring our rpod 190 in our driveway. Have everything functioning. Just need to test the hot water tank which needs to be turned on.

Well Andy just make sure the water tank that heats the water is full before you start heating it, either electrically or with gas.  To ensure that the tank that heats the water up is full pull the handle on the pressure relief valve and your system should be pressurized so water should come out of the valve.  If the tank is not full you can burn out the electrical element very quickly and it is not good to light the LP gas burner without the tank being full with water.

So I see what looks like 2 handles outside one is red and one is black. Is that what you are referring to?
