Use the advanced editor. See the icon shaped like two boxes superimposed with an arrow pointing to the top-right. That has the icon to post a photo. It looks like a picture of a tree. Click on it and it will open a dialog box for you to upload a picture. When you do so (remember the 1024Kb size limit), when you click OK, the picture will be pasted into your message draft. You can't upload a picture that is too large. the dialog box will not allow it. You can use a picture editor to resize the photo and save it for uploading.

Hi, just got an rpod last week, upgraded from an awesome aframe. Took it camping this past weekend, and totally love it. Hope to use this forum for interesting info.

For your picture, you don't necessarily need to take another one. It will also be too big to upload. What you can do is to open it up in an image editing program such as Windows Paint Adobe Photoshop Elements, or the open source GIMP. Resize the image to 800x600 or 640x480 (the size depends on the resolution of the original photograph) and then save it to either a .jpg or .png format. Check to see that the file is no larger than 1024 Kilobytes. If it is larger, choose the smaller picture size and see if it comes in under the limit. You will then be able to upload the picture.
