Thrilled with our 2021 171. And 4 Runner! It's almost like the trailer is not there. And so much easier to back up then our old pop up coleman. It's true...the bigger the trailer, the easier to back up!

Hi, we took delivery on our 2021 RPod 193 about a week ago after researching many brands, models and layouts since about June of 2020. We finally choose the RPod 193 for many reasons and are very excited to use it. This picture was taken on delivery day at the "launch pad" of the dealer.
We have tent camped for many years and in my wife's case, since she was a few weeks old. Now with 3 kids of our own and having gone on a handful of tent camping trips (with a loaded 5'x8' utility trailer), we decided a travel trailer would offer some safety, organization and comfort. One of our tent camping experiences in WI in late October lead to a small river running through the center of the tent in about mid 30F deg weather, not fun. Few comments on set-up: TV: 2021 GMC Sierra 2500HD; overkill for RPod 193 but wanted to ensure payload was never an issue, especially with a family of 5. We carry 5 bikes on the bed and will load the truck bed with various camping items. The possibility of upsizing is there so didn't want to keep changing out the TV. We also plan to do some cross-county trips in which a 3/4 ton should excel in the hilly/mountain areas with the 193 behind it. RPod 193: We loved the idea that we can all sit on a couch cushion when the weather is bad. At night, we just then fold down the murphy bed and convert the dinette sofa to another sleeping area. The bunks have a nice open feeling as the end toward the inside of the trailer is not fully closed off as in some other brands. Both bunks have a window to help further keep the space open feeling. The bathroom is roomy enough to be able to change clothes and have privacy when doing so if the trailer is full of people. This is in part achieved by placing the sink in the shower area. We plan to mostly eat outside in a Clam screened in patio so inside eating space was not much of a concern. We go camping to get outside and stay outside as much as we can. The pairing of both TV and TT are right around 43-45' in total, with the 193 under 25' potentially allowing more camp site options. We waited about a year to be able to physically see a RPod 193 and when we saw it available, we checked it out and jumped on it immediately. We look forward to learning and sharing information about our RPod 193 on this forum!

Hello David,
Welcome and both condolences on the loss of your in-laws and congratulations on your RPod. It is extra special as it came to you from family. I hope you have many fun adventures and make many great memories with it. Stephen BTW, where in Arizona do you call home? We were there a short time ago visiting our younger daughter in Chandler and friends in Sierra Vista.
