OK I now know how to fill hot water heater!
I need a picture of the by pass valve for the hot water heater! ![]() I think it is under the bed on the pod 177. Onnce again thank you!

dont have a picture.. but on a 177, they are under the bed, you can lift the mattress, then undo the screws that hold that first piece of ply down lift it up and you will see, on the back of the water heater, where the cold goes in and the hot comes out, and then on a line that runs between them, 3 valves.
For summer, the two line valves are open, and the one on the bypass line is closed. for winterization, reverse. Edit to add.. if you are skinny, and have long arms, there is a panel you can remove inside the storage area, and reach them from there also.. but I am about 20 years past there.. |

+1 on that! I was wedged in so tight I thought I might not get out! I intend to cut an access hole in the plywood under the mattress and install a marine "inspection port". They are available in a number of sizes, and when closed are virtually flush with the surface of the plywood. (Certainly not objectionable under the mattress.) |
