Announced on the Nation forum:  an R-pod and friends rally and roundup at the raccoonholler.com campground in northwest North Carolina.  Dates are 12thru 16 June.  Most sign ups are for the weekend.
To date there are about 12-13 of us registered.  Sounds like it will be a great event and good way to meet and make new friends.

The scribe for the event is rob at r&ts pod.  Let him know of your intent at rgr3nc@gmail.com.

Sure would like to see you all there!

Hi, y'all!  We got back Tuesday from the NC Pod Rally at Raccoon Holler Campground just 200 yards off the Blue Ridge Parkway near Glendale Springs, NC.  Lovely weather all the five days.  Great company, good conversation and a fabulous potluck featuring Rob's venison chili on Saturday evening.  There were 14 pods, and 3 others (a T@b, a Scotty, and an Airstream) nestled under the oaks and pines.
Recommend Rob's blog at www.rtspod.blogspot.com for photos and commentary.

The new Durango was a joy to drive, although gas consumption was standard TV mileage at about 10.5.  We did a lot of up and down the hills in the Shenendoah and Blue Ridge. Both the pod and the Durango were very comfortable on the highway at a steady 60-62 mph with the E-2 hitch.

We really enjoyed our time in NC with new and old podding friends.

We're contemplating a fall rally in the upper Hudson Valley - any interest?

Walt and Chris
