Found the problem! It was a faulty thermostat - new thermostat and the furnace works like a charm!!

One question about your furnace. Is it loud when it cycles on and off? The blower fan, is it noisy like a hair dryer? Gary

Congrats on the repair. gappman, the furnace and the A/C are both very loud IMO. Most people use an electric heater when they have hookups so they don't have to listen to the furnace. |
