real easy, take a knife blade or a small screwdriver, and gently stick it in between the lens and body and pry slightly it will start to open, I put an led light out there because i was afraid of it getting so hot, turns out it wont hurt the lens. I left the light on all night one time and it did not harm anything. good luck poddin.

It should just pop out, with a little prying from a screw driver. If I remember right one tab on the bottom and two on top. I replaced the bulb with a LED bulb because the fixture was a little discolored from the heat of the 1141 bulb.
This is the bulb I used, http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003TKI4VU/ref=oh_details_o02_s01_i00 |
