David, the Presque Isle campground on the west end of the Porkies has rustic sites (no services), but as I recall the sites are big enough for an R-pod. I've never camped there, since I prefer the beach access on the east end of the park at Union Bay.

I'm going to spend a few days in Presque Isle campground before moving to Union Bay for the August rally, so I'll let you know. We drove through Presque Isle campground last summer, it had everything from tents to motorhomes in it.

Thanks Huron!  I just signed on and was going to put out a plea to you and the others for any info.

Unfortunately, work obligations keep me from the Porkies round up.....I'm on-call that week Cry.

Union Bay sounds nice - with hook ups & on the water but, appears busy.  Presque Isle plays into my dry camping preference.
